Katie ordered her own ice cream directly after Angelina, all the while keeping the thought in the back of her mind that she should in fact plan Angelina's birthday party. It would be fun, but at the moment ice cream was distracting her a bit. Her order was mainly the same thing as Angelina's only with a bit (actually loads) of caramel added on top. Where Angelina got massive sugar highs, Katie just enjoyed the deliciousness of it all. Smiling at Angelina, Katie stayed silent. Guessing would have been fun, not to mention fine, but really she just wanted to know the news. Her smile widened considerably when Angelina had finished. "Look at you, all grown up aren't you? A flying instructor at Hogwarts!" Katie said, slapping a hand down lightly on the table to emphasize her excitement.
"That's wonderful!" Katie continued, "I was honestly a bit torn between the idea that you'd decided to run off to some exotic place with gold you'd found outside your front door one morning and wanted to take me with you, or... alright, well I didn't have a better one than that actually, but anyhow I like the actual news better!" While Katie wouldn't be attending Hogwarts, she did love Quidditch and she thought that Angelina would be perfect for the job of flying instructor at Hogwarts. She only hoped that none of the brats felt the need to be rude to their newly appointed instructor who also happened to be a recent graduate. All in all, Katie thought that would in itself help Angelina's chances of being well liked.
