Angelina was affectionate to a point. She was fond of hugging and the occasional pecks on her cheek, but that was about it. Unless Ang was someone's best friend, she liked to keep her space. Of course she jumped all over Oliver, Katie, Alicia, George, and ... Fred, but that was about it. With strangers Angelina felt incredibly uncomfortable if they hugged. She realized it was polite and the whole shebang, but Ang was much happier with a handshake. A handshake where the other person stayed out of her bubble. Unless she was drunk, then Angelina couldn't care less who was around her.
Smiling as Katie talked about her family, Angelina wondered how her own was doing. How long had it been since she saw them? Six, seven months? Oi, she was going to have to get on top of that. Some daughter she was! It had been hard though, with the war and everything that happened. And then the aftermath had been even harder. "That's brilliant, Katie. If you feel like planning my birthday I'll be sure to thank you," Angelina said with a tease and finished with a wink.
Glancing at the waiter, Angelina ordered her own ice cream. Ah, they did have chocolate frog ice cream, and Angelina couldn't help it. They were her guilty pleasure, but they also gave her a huge sugar high. Hopefully there just wasn't too many in the ice cream! Looking back at Katie, And tilted her head playfully. "You don't wanna guess? That's no fun!" Angelina's voice was light, a much different Ang than when she had been captain. But today was for fun, for friends, and for a new beginning. "Okay, okay," Angelina finally relented. "I got an owl from our old head of Gryffindor. She offered me a job!" Ang exclaimed, no better at keeping secrets contained than Katie. "Flying instructor, and I'm in charge of all quidditch things!"
