Angelina had only been in Diagon Alley yesterday. Or was it the day before that? Merlin, how was she ever going to be a teacher!? She was going to need to get one of those things muggles wrote down dates in. A jenga? No, that wasn't right. Whatever it was, Angelina was going to find it. Unless she could find something better here in Diagon Alley. Angelina was all for accepting muggles, but some things wizards just did better. Cleaning and organizing were two of those things. Of course, as many spells that there were invented, Angelina still loathed cleaning up after herself. Having a lunch date with Katie outside of her flat was brilliant! Plus, it was helping Angelina immensely to get out of her flat, which in turn was helping her get out of the rut she was stuck in. As for the ice cream bit... well who didn't like ice cream? Ang and Katie had never been girls on a "diet", their metabolisms had been fair, they were active, and they enjoyed their lives. Especially the food that entered their lives!
As Angelina approached, she took had a quick giggle at the little girl. Coming near Katie, Angelina swooped down to hug her friend. Sitting across from her, Angelina looked around for the waiter. Nowhere near them, typical. "Afternoon, Kate! How was you're parents then?" Angelina intended to distract Katie, have the girl guess, and do whatever else before actually telling Katie her news. It was exciting, yes, but Ang was sure Katie had already thought up an even more exciting scenario. Like she was off to Albania to hunt dragons on only her broom. Oi, that would be a fantastic job! Perhaps Ang should look into getting that one!
"Waiter?" Angelina called, excited to get her ice cream. Both the girls knew sugar was bad for Angelina, but as long as she stuck to vanilla she should be fine. Unless they had that ice cream with bits and pieces of chocolate frogs... then things could get wild.
