Who: Julian + Mandy What: Julian skips class and Mandy is a good upperclassman. Where: Library When: Wednesday during class rating: PG
Julian had noticed his difficulty to perform magic yesterday, but had been feeling under the weather for nearly five days now. This was the worst he had ever felt - and it probably was worse, since he never got sick and was so unused to what it really felt like. He felt no desire to eat; probably hadn't ate in three days. What little he had managed to get down had quickly come back up, and that combined with his loss of appetite made him rather reluctant to even attempt. He chugged down potions like they were Butterbeers in a desperate attempt to feel better, but nothing worked. Rather, it usually left him with a terrible stomachache that made him desperate to find some dark place where he could curl up and suffer alone until he felt somewhat better.
Unfortunately, those moments were disappearing quickly. If he wasn't feeling nauseous, he was suffering from a headache. He slept more and more often and had taken to "studying" more in order to keep his housemates from noticing. He would be damned if anyone found out he was sick and that his magic wasn't really working like it should.
He could no longer deny to himself that he wasn't sick, but he sure as hell would deny it to everyone else.
Thus was the reason why he was currently slumped in a corner of the library, a book open on the desk and a roll of parchment off to the side, as was his quill and ink. He wasn't as notorious as Draco Malfoy or some of the other members of his house, so he hoped that should anyone wander over to him he could lie and say he had a free period. And hopefully be believed. It was bad enough he was skipping, but for word to get out that he was sick... He shuddered at the idea.
Julian would keep up with saying that he wasn't sick. But he knew someone would notice, or ask one too many questions. He needed an excuse for why he was missing classes (assuming he was going to skip again, which he most likely would if he kept feeling like this) to keep those questions at bay. But what..?
