Dennis smiled a little, "it doesn't have to be a good story. At school Colin's nickname was Creepy Creevey... I don't really have one."
His brow furrowed, "but I mean, no one really noticed me. I guess you have to be noticed to get a nickname?" He shrugged.
Colin had been his best friend. And sure he had other friends at school but he never felt like they were 'his' friends, more like they were just people who were being nice to him but like he was the bottom on the list of 'People I want to hang out with' for everyone.
And he knew that was so ridiculously self-pitying of him but he just couldn't shake the feeling that he was insignificant.
He was so grateful when their drinks arrived and downed his first butter beer in one long swallow.
Another heavy sigh as he tried, hard, to focus his thoughts. He glanced up at Tristan, "I'm sorry. About earlier. It's just when I heard your camera... it just made me angry you know?"
