Angelina had been actually using her owl a lot this past week, between owling for permission to use the pitch on Friday, and to Flitwick about the Bole situation. If she had known Verity was here because she didn't expect any visitors, Angelina would have told her that the owls were still used to deliver mail to people inside the castle. House elves could be used, but Angelina always preferred her owl.
Looking down, Angelina realized she was still holding her wand out. "Oh... Oh! I'm sorry," she quickly said. She hadn't meant to pull a wand on Verity, but her mind wasn't exactly where it should be the past few days. "I was just nervous you were someone... dangerous." Admitting that she was scared wasn't an easy task for Angelina, but honesty would be best in this situation. It wasn't every day Verity was going to get a wand pulled on her. Of course, Ang would never attack Verity, but they weren't great friends - Verity had no way of knowing that.
"Oh?" Ang asked. "You know you should explore more, there's some great views around the other side of the castle." Stepping closer to where Verity stood, Angelina looked out the window. Looking closer at Verity, Angelina frowned. "Are you alright?" Something looked... off about the girl. Not that Angelina looked okay herself, but at least she could pass that off as being worried about the girls. Not to mention she'd hardly gotten a minute of sleep the past evening. If that didn't change George was surely going to notice something...
