Michael tipped his head and smiled. "As long as I want?" he asked suggestively with a little wink, usual Michael behaviour as far as anyone else was concerned. "I don't think going to be taking any minions out on dates, GinGin. I wouldn't want to get their hopes up, lead them on-" he gave a genuine shrug and stretched before picking up one of the menus on the table.
"My summer- well, the first half of it mama and dad wouldn't let me leave the house. I was practically stuck in bed whilst they fussed over me and poked at me and made sure I wasn't mentally scarred by everything that happened. Which...well, admittedly I have a lot of nightmares, there are days when I can't shake any of it, when I still think...there are time when I can still feel...that spell on me..." Michael bit his lip and shook his head as though to dislodge the thought. "We went to Holland about three weeks ago. I spent some time in Amsterdam with my cousins and then we went around with the rest of the family, eating, drinking, going up and down the canals. I hate to disappoint you, but it was actually pretty boring. Which was...pretty good."
He reached over the table slowly, resting his hand close to hers. "How about you? How have things been?"
