Megan and Open
Sally-Ann's idea for a sleepover was perfect in more ways than one. They would all be safe together, just like in the Room of Requirement and they could have a bit of fun too. Megan was glad to help in arranging the fort too. She and Gwen had built several of them as children out in their big back yard.
When she'd finished and everyone had started arriving, Megan slid into the tent and down one of makeshift hallways until she found a quiet spot to curl up with her journal. She'd not written in it since the day she and Ernie had talked by the lake. She needed to write again. She'd talked to Kevin, but that hadn't helped - it had only made her mind go more crazy. She needed something, but she still couldn't figure out what it was.
She curled up, staring down at the last words she'd written.
