She had used to adore Professor Trelawney. She'd believed every word her favourite teacher said, even when deep down she knew half of it was unlikely at best, and she was still a friend - and a friend who had saved her life, no less - but she didn't quite know anymore whether the woman really wanted her to succeed. She rather thought Trelawney liked being the only 'real' Seer around.
"No," she said, despondently. "It just sort of... happened." She decided not to mention the other thing that had happened over summer. She hadn't been secretive about it up to now, but it might just have been an odd sort of daydream, after all. What had happened here in the common room was definitely not a daydream, and she hadn't been asleep. "For a second it was like I was there."
