"If only there was sleep after dinner. More like... a mountain of homework," she said, making a face at the idea. Usually Ellie didn't mind the work, but lately she had too much on her mind and her focus was lacking something fierce.
"What are you studying?" she asked with a curious look on her face, looking at the book he was trying to read. They shared several classes, maybe she could help!
At his question though she shrugged, looking up at her friend with a small smile. "I guess so. Just a crap day. Fell going up the stairs, spilled stuff all over myself, a whole bunch of other nonsense. I'm pretty sure I wanted to start the day over before it even started," she said with a slight chuckle. And though part of her wanted to mention the dreams of her parents she had been having, something inside stopped her. She just... she couldn't. It was too raw, even after the months she spent away over the summer.
"Think if we're out of here by the winter holidays I can come stay at your place?"
