Cathal, Doctor Watson and Eleanor
"I wasn't even a bit scared," came Cathal's entirely truthful response. Well. If one took entirely truthful as in fact telling a fib so you didn't seem odd, then yes, he was being truthful. "I'm glad you don't think it's hard to say. I always did! It's like... ka-hal! I couldn't spell it for ages," he said, bright and cheery about the whole thing. And here, he'd found another bright and happy person! So far, he adored everything about the other girl and was all ready to spend his day gossiping about whatever he could, and to ask her who in their right mind would trust a volunteer with their hair when she even told Watson that she intended to pet him and he rather majestically let her.
"He doesn't let just everyone give his ears a scratch! I mean, he's not as sensitive with them as most cats, but I think he can be self conscious, but I do my best to make him feel like he's not alone!" he said, admiration all there in his voice because it was important to him that Watson was treated with the consideration that he needed. "I'm sorry," he said immediately when Ellie told him about her cat, his face crumpling a bit at the thought of anything ever happening to his own. He might have hugged him a little bit tighter at that. "You can come talk to me and Watson whenever you want! I mean, you'd have to learn his talking, but it's easy once you know how!"
