Cathal, Doctor Watson and OPEN
Ellie had been intrigued with the announcement of Hogsmeade coming to Hogwarts. And though she knew it would lack some of the charm and well, freedom, that the actual trips to the small village entailed, she had to admit she was pleasantly surprised. It also have her the perfect opportunity to stock up on some art supplies, and well as candy to satiate her sweet tooth. She had been wandering about for a while, not really paying attention to much when she came upon the book stall, excited to see if there was anything that caught her attention or that she hadn't read before.
Picking away at the selection, she noticed a boy standing not incredibly far from her. She knew he was in her house, that was for sure, but for some strange reason his name was escaping her. Cathedral. Castle. Coronation... No, none of those were names.
"Aha! Cathal!" she exclaimed, realizing a moment too late she said it out loud instead of in her head. Giving him a slightly embarrassed, apologetic look she giggled at herself. "Sorry... probably scared you, didn't I? I was having an inner monologue about your name, and when it hit me... apparently that filter that tells you when not to speak out loud had a meltdown," she explained with a slight shrug. Looking at the animal in his arms then, a wide smile spread across her face.
"Would he hate me if I tried to pet him?" she asked, eyes hopeful. Ellie was an animal lover of all sorts. It was basically the reason why she was e vegetarian. Even if it ended in bites and scratches, she didn't mind. All creatures were wonderful to her.
