Who: Charlie Weasley and Penelope Clearwater [!Grab-me?!] What: In which Charlie argues with a door When: Friday evening Where: Ravenclaw Tower Rating: Low
"I’m tall when I’m young and I’m short when I’m old. What am I?" The bronze eagle adorning the door to the Ravenclaw tower asked as Charlie approached. He looked around, but there weren't any actual Ravenclaws on their way back to the commonroom yet apparently. He was going to have to answer the riddle if he wanted to get in and find Penny.
Stumped, Charlie tapped his fingers against his lips in thought. Short when it was old? Charlie wasn't a riddle sort of person... "An Ashwinder?" He hazarded. Ashwinder, magical soot creature. As it left a trail, it got shorter, thus, it ended its life shorter than it started! Seemed like the perfect answer to Charlie, but unfortunately, it wasn't what the knocker was looking for.
"Oh come on! This is ridiculous! Why can't Ravenclaw just have a password like a normal house!" He demanded angrily as he thumped his fist against the door to try and get the attention of the kids inside so he could gain entry.
