Angelina made a disgruntled face at Adrian's description of himself, not necessarily agreeing with his own take. After all, not everyone could be a skyscraper as far as height went, and honestly, it was sort of nice to not have to get up on her tip toes to kiss him, or even look at him. At the end of the day it was sort of nice, if she was being honest with herself. And perhaps she was continuously seeing him through rose coloured glasses, but everything about him was absolutely perfect. His face. His height. His ears. Hell, his hair color. Everything fit together and made him a handsome individual. There wasn't a damn thing she would change.
But then he started talking about Quidditch and she couldn't help but let her mind wander. Honestly, part of her was... somewhat okay with the fact wasn't playing professionally at this moment. Not that she didn't want him to go back, she knew how much he wanted it, but something told her she may not be able to play her best against him. Then again, she knew he would be angry with her if she didn't. But Merlin, she never wanted to be at odds with him and it was a strange feeling to be having. "You don't give yourself nearly enough credit, Adrian," she said with a final nod of her head, giving him a dazzling smile. "All your great qualities stick out clear as day to me!" she said with a wink, brushing a bit of hair behind her shoulder. It was true too. Angie didn't care anymore that he was a Slytherin, or what his heritage was. All she saw was him, and the person he wanted to be and already was, and that person was beautiful to her.
And it was during this bombardment of thoughts that their main dish arrived, and Angie couldn't help but look at the simple, yet elegant meal and smile. She nodded in agreement at his words and said something in agreement before starting to dig in a bit, but then Adrian's words caught her a bit off guard. She stopped, meeting his eyes for a moment and taking it all in, realizing exactly what he was saying very soon after he said it. At first she wasn't sure exactly what to do, but without really thinking about it she gave him a playful smile, getting up from the table and walking over to him, and without even thinking about it, she sat down in his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing his lips to hers before thinking better of her actions. Merlin, he tasted delicious and she couldn't help the goosebumps that rose on her arms and the fact her tongue couldn't stop itself from darting across his lips. When she pulled away she pressed her forehead to his, running her hands through his hair and looking into his eyes.
"Well now I'm right here.... so what are you going to do now?" she asked playfully, nipping at his bottom lip, wanting nothing more than to run her fingers over his bare skin, also but semi annoyed that there was all these clothes in the way.
"Adrian...." she breathed then, pressing her face into his neck and breathing him in, her fingers trailing over the shirt on his chest, unable to help herself or her hands from wandering. "Will you touch me?" she finally asked, looking him in the eyes. "Because I've wanted it... for a while now. I'm not sure I can wait much longer..."
