Aster was really good at hugs. Timothy was touched when Aster took him by the hand, happy to hold back and be led through the chattering Common Room, his tail not curling towards Aster's hand too only because Timothy was in more control over it and was consciously making an effort for it not to. He wasn't comfortable in crowded spaces, and that included his own Common Room a lot of the time, but he wasn't about to have his tail draw any unwanted attention either.
He relaxed when Aster pulled him into their dorm and he saw that it was empty for the time being. He chuckled at Aster's introductions, playing along a little. "Oh yes, it does look familiar." he agreed, following Aster around and then reaching a hand out towards the beautiful drapes of the bed; if they'd been able to choose their Houses Timothy might have chosen Ravenclaw just because of the decor. It was good that he hadn't though - he wasn't even the smartest kid in Hufflepuff.
"It's beautiful!" he overexclaimed and then leapt onto it with a laugh, curling up a little and then curling over so he was on his side with his knees drawn up, his tail flicking playfully over his knee. He looked like a cat that had flopped over to make itself comfortable. "Mmm, cosy." he said, this time honest as he snuggled in against the bedspread without shame.
