Gabe sounded like he wasn't fully paying attention and Andy looked from the book back to him, catching his eyes on his own mouth. It made a little frisson of heat run up his spine, although he thought he kept his reaction hidden because he was listening to Gabe. He didn't want to pull them into something more than PG-rated even out here on their own, or rather, he would have wanted to but he wasn't sure he was allowed to anymore. He wasn't sure Gabe would want him to take them there either.
He couldn't help but throw a quick look to teh hills that Gabe mentioned, tucking that little fact away in his mind to bring up later when they were hopefully out from under this dome and hopefully still together like this enough that Andy could take him there where they could walk together. He was a little concerned to hear that Gabe had been looking into the virus, aware that the other man was a studious hard worker and worried that he might wearing himself down too much between helping at the Infirmary and investigating the disease.
These thoughts were very easily knocked from his head though by the feel of Gabe's fingers up against bare skin low on his back, making him rest his head against Gabe's shoulder again briefly until his mind stopped short-circuiting. He was a little flushed when he looked up merely from that small glancing contact; it said a lot about how starved for this he was, not just the sweet, safe physical contact but the familiarity, the easy closeness that he'd had with Gabe before.
He liked that grin on Gabe's mouth but managed to hold himself back from kissing it, biting the corner of his bottom lip playfully. "Why would that be?" he asked coquettishly, not making a move to go anywhere.
