Andy closed his eyes when Gabe's thumbs swept gently over his face and he was happy when they settled down on his hips; it wasn't as dominant a gesture as Gabe's hand at the back of his neck, but Andy still felt held and wanted and that was more than enough. He rested his forehead against Gabe's shoulder so the frown he made at the promise Gabe asked of him wasn't seen until he looked up. "Only because you've asked me to." he said, clearly unhappy about having to keep his distance but compliant to whatever it was that Gabe might want, his happiness more important to Andy than his own reassurance.
Gabe brought his mind away from 'might be's' and into the present though and he couldn't help but smile at that. His fingers reached into the short hair at the nape of Gabe's neck, petting there as he turned his head just a little to land a kiss almost at the corner of Gabe's mouth, one filled with possibility but also content to remain a gesture of affection. "I'd say we should maybe take a trip into the forest but that's a really bad idea at the moment." he said thoughtfully. "That said, I'm happy to stay here with you if you're happy to stay here." He cocked his head at Gabe's unread book. "Were you reading?"
