How in all Hells did she manage to make him smile like that? Dorcas wasn't entirely certain and it seemed like a miracle. But she would certainly treasure every single one of those broad smiles and keep them hidden away for herself. Only she realized that they were being watched so she couldn't enjoy it for too long.
"Kevin's really the only one you'd have to be worried about anyway. You boys seem to underestimate just how shit I am at wand work..." She couldn't emphasize it enough. Some people made things explode at random. She just usually had nothing happen at all. Or the opposite of what she wanted. Unless she could really clear her mind anyhow.
She gave Michael a bit of a hidden smile as he went off in search of blankets. And as soon as the cushion pile was done, she went about making herself comfortable. First was taking off her socks, honestly, because she noticed she had been leaving a trail of black ink spots as she walked. And since they were going to be wrapped up in front of the fire, she didn't need her uniform's sweater vest so that went away too. Mind you that revealed the waist cincher she usually wore over her white shirt. Oh well. Maybe no one would comment.
"Cocoa definitely. Freestyle absolutely. I'm going to be completely judgmental though, let me warn you," Dorcas settled on the cushions on one of the far edges - not because she didn't want to snuggle with Anthony but because she was leaving room for Michael. Obviously. Almost immediately Romeo was curling up by her resting his little white chin on her knee. She reached down to scratch the spot behind his ear that made him kick his leg like a puppy. Silly kitten.
