"No idea. I don't know why he thinks that," Michael rolled his eyes playfully. He did love Ant, they got on really well, they always had. Of all of the boys, he and Ant had the most in common, they shared the most interests, Anthony's family took good care of him.
His eyebrows raised when Dorcas turned towards him, though the grasp of his chin and the forcefulness of her tone made his heart skip and a shiver run through him. Oh, he had no idea why, but he really very much liked this side of her. "Okay, I'm sorry," he whispered, rasped even. The tingles were continuing. Michael was a bit giddy.
He was still staring at Dorcas when Kevin arrived, barely able to tear his eyes away from her. He looked up in time to see Kevin and Anthony exchanging some very gentle communication. Anthony confused him. If Michael had to give a solid answer on what the heck was going on in Ant's love life he'd have no clue where to start. Four. Four of them. And clearly if they were pairing up he was going to end up with Dorcas.
Romeo was now settling back down happily with Kevin and Ant, so Michael peeled himself off of the arm of the chair and went to help out with the gathering of the pillows. He didn't say anything, he didn't know what to say anyway. He had to think of a good story to share with everyone, one that Dorcas would like. That was his priority. The other two were probably going to be distracted, anyway.
"We'll need our own blanket- blankets. Those two are sorted," Michael said quietly.
