Michael supposed he shouldn't really be as happy as he was, and the look on both of their faces was enough to tell him that was a thing he shouldn't be thinking. Dean looked really upset, and Michael felt awful. Still, Michael held out his hand for a fistbump, as grudging as he knew it would be.
And then Kevin. Poor Kevin. But then Michael supposed he'd had all of this time to be able to get used to it, he hadn't thought of it spreading to anyone else. He opened his arms to hug Kevin back, wrapping around him tightly.
"It's going to be okay, guys. It's going to be okay. They're going to find a cure, and I'm pretty sure we're not spreading it anywhere anymore. It's just- it's fine. It's going to be fine." If they were going to be in this room together, Michael at least wanted to boost the morale slightly.
