"That was always my intention, Adrian. To hustle you out of all your hard earnings from Hogwarts through a rousing round of Quidditch scrimmage," she teased, rolling her eyes in the slightest bit before suddenly going silent as Adrian put his plate aside. She wasn't exactly sure what she was expecting, but honestly, she mentally prepared herself for all of it. For confusion, acceptance, even outright rejection. After all, it wasn't out of the realm of possibilities. Sure, they had fun, they'd kissed quite recently, and they made each other smile, or at the very least he made her smile, but that didn't necessarily guarantee anything and lately? Angie had learned just not to get her hopes up. It was easier when disappointment came knocking that way. But thankfully, disappointment didn't seem to be the case though and she let out a breath of air she had no idea she had been holding in when he seemed to be saying he liked her back.
"Oh good... so I'm not the only one who smiles like a maniac when I think of you," she teased at him. It was true though. She found herself smiling stupidly when she thought of a memory, especially to their entertaining round of questions on their first date. How he made her feel light, the sound of his laugh, and most importantly how cute he looked in his pajamas. Really, she wanted to encourage him to put those on again..
"I think we were just young and stupid, is all," she said simply enough, though Ange, just like Adrian knew there was a bit more to it than that. But that was in the past, and they were different people now. Really, that's all that mattered.
At that last bit though she laughed, shaking her head before picking up her fork again, taking a few more bites and looking back at him with a negative nod of her head. "I can assure you, you don't need to impress me. I'm a pretty easy individual. I like the little things... Even if it doesn't seem like it. Actually... have you ever played muggle board games? I think there's a few stashed around here that I've seen. And while wizarding games are fun, they lack the colorful ridiculousness that muggles seemed to have mastered. I can teach you how to play Battleship. And clue. And maybe candyland though that's probably a bit juvenile." Shrugging her shoulders she let her fork hang in her mouth for a moment before taking it out and plopping it back onto her plate. "Though maybe the juvenile part is the best part. Because let's be real here, I pretend to be an adult, but I'm really just a giant kid at heart," she joked, though it was half true.
Continuing on her food then, it took a bit, but not awfully long for her plate to be clear. She had piled it pretty high, and was impressed with herself that she managed to put it all away. But that's what happens when Angelina Johnson doesn't eat for a day.
"Would it be bad form to lick the plate? Because I'd be lying if I said I wasn't considering it," she said with a laugh, looking over at him and balanced her elbow on her knee, resting her chin in hand and giving him a content smile.
"Thank you again.. for all of this. I... I needed it. More than I thought I did. So yeah..." putting her plate next to the pile of Indian food that was still left, Angie finally pulled her other leg up onto the couch. "Though I will admit.. even after sleeping most of the day away, I'm still tired. I guess panic attacks really take it out of someone, eh?" Not that she was even sure he knew what she was talking about, but the sentiment was there all the same.
