"An autumn fling?" Vieve asked as she shifted, leaving her tea on the coffee table so she could turn just a little and lean against him fully. A smile was bright in her eyes, even though it was soft on her face. "It would certainly make being here all that easier, wouldn't it?"
Of course it wasn't so simple as something to do. Charlie was charming, interesting. He was probably one of the only other people outside of her team of aurors that knew what it was like to look danger in the eye. She could appreciate that. She liked him.
"I warn you, though," she started, a sly sort of look crossing her features. "You might not be able to leave."
