Pansy & Kazim Who: Pansy & Kazim What: An 'accidental' meeting. When: Friday evening, sometime after dinner but well before any curfew Where: Astronomy Tower Rating: Not too high. Pansy's not easy Status: Incomplete
Pansy wasn't sure what it was about Kazim, whether it was his seeming disinterest in her after their initial meeting, if it was the fact that he was so different from anyone she knew, or if it was the simple fact that with him she didn't have to worry about matching up to any preconceived notions. Maybe it was a bit of all three, but mostly it was her absolute boredom with the vast majority of the Hogwarts population, even within her own House warring with the reoccurring nightmares about Carrow keeping her awake all hours of the night that drove her to seek him out. Kazim offered something different, and the distraction was a welcome one.
Which is how, she supposed, she ended up 'accidentally' ending up at the Astronomy Tower at the same time he was observing the stars. If she happened to be wearing something rather more flattering than school robes while still appearing casual, well eighth years weren't required to wear robes, were they? She had a couple of school books under her arms, something to use as an excuse to be in this particular place at this particular time. The Astronomy Tower was normally fairly quiet on a Friday evening, well before any classes were held, and who could blame her for requiring some peace and quiet in which to study.
"Oh, I didn't expect anyone else to be up here," she said, as casually and disaffected as she could manage. He really was the most attractive man she'd ever seen up close, and that was saying something when she thought about several of her friends.
