Who: Aster & Timothy
When: Couple of days after the dome came down
Where: Wandering the Halls
What: Timothy needs cuddles
Rating: PG? So much cute
Everyone had a rough few days but Timothy had the feeling that he'd missed it all. He'd been at the ceremony, his tail curled up against his chest and held in his hands regardless of who was around. He'd hidden on the fringes, wanting to be involved in everything but unable to stand in the crowd; even on the outskirts where he was he still felt uncomfortably trapped. He sought out his friends when people started milling around, hoping that the anxiety brewing inside him would be appeased if he reassured himself that the people he cared about were okay, but it didn't work.
When the dome came down Timothy felt his breath stop short, but when people started to freak out a little his anxiety went to full blown panic. He thought he was doing okay until he backed up into someone and realised he couldn't breathe. His vision greyed around the edges and he felt the vague beginnings of a headache just before he lost consciousness and collapsed.
He woke up a couple of days later in a bed in the Infirmary on his own; he'd actually woken up a couple of times and freaked out, squalling and flailing, his tail fluffing out and unable to be calmed until someone nearly held him down and poured Calming Drought down his throat. When he finally came to and back to himself he'd gotten up and wobbled out, saying that he was going to go lie down in his bed.
He'd meant it, at the time, but his worries about his friends had led him wandering from the Hufflepuff dorms and away. He was aiming towards the Ravenclaw dorms to check on everyone there, but his mind was still foggy with the draining experience of panic and potions, his tail dragging across the floor behind him. He stopped ocassionally to yawn and rub the back of his hand against his eyes sleepily, still a little groggy and not quite sure where he was going.
