Anthony leaned in and kissed Justin, only what he knew to be allowed. It was light and over quickly. He had promised he wouldn't go far until Justin was ready and he was set to stick by that promise. Even if the nerves and the worry inside of him wanted to vibrate through his skin. "I'd still be here." That, at least, was true.
"Michael's sick. He has the virus that caused the quarantine." He closed his eyes tight against the words. He wasn't sure if he was supposed to say that. He wasn't sure if he wanted anyone to know. People were angry, they were trapped and Anthony got it, he did. He didn't like being trapped as much as the next person. But his best friend was sick and that came first.
