Neville didn't know about people who were like jumpers, but he thought privately that he wouldn't mind finding out. The last few years had been about focussing on himself, to learn to be better. Even since Crouch... relationships had seemed like something that could come later. Not that he would have objected if something had happened without his having to seek it out. But it hadn't. And now he couldn't help feeling he was well behind. Even Harry had found time to date at some point and he had a lot more going on than Neville did. He had no idea how to even talk to girls.
At least, he thought, looking at Justin, he was pretty sure about girls. He might not rule out boys entirely before he had a chance to figure out what - or who - he wanted, but boys didn't make him stammer and blush and trip over his own feet, the way girls did. All in all it seemed like a simpler arrangement. He was a little jealous, truth be told. "That's great," he said, smiling encouragingly. "That you guys... that must be nice."
