Laura & Daphne
Daphne's eyes widened as Laura bounced towards her. They had only just met at the wedding and spoken a few times over the journals. And while she considered Laura to be a friend already, she hadn't known about the pep in her step when she walked. That was a little too chipper for Daphne, but, she would silently admit she liked it. It was cute and happy and screamed Laura, if she were being honest with herself.
"Laura, hello. You know you can call me Daphne." Mrs anything was still a little weird, even if she had spent the last two or so weeks being Mrs. Cornfoot. She was still trying to settle herself into that identity, but she liked it a little more now.
"It was discussed and decided that it was a good idea to finish my schooling." Her eyes grew a little wider as Laura went on with barely a breath about how she was tanned but probably not everywhere. She was right about that, but it wasn't something that needed announcing, that Daphne had spent the last week in a bikini. "Laura!" Her cheeks flamed red and she buried her face into her hands, laughing a little.
