"Well I'm very glad you managed to make it, yes, I do hope I get a chance to see your mother before I return to Hogwarts in September," Stephen gave the most charming of smiles, and walked away from the person he was talking to whilst sipping at the martini glass in his hand. Old habits die hard, and spending four years learning how to be the perfect gentleman at a party was hard to shake. He walked through the room, brightly aware of who he had and hadn't greeted yet. His mannerisms and tone could make you think he'd known you for years, even if you'd only just met.
Like a beacon of light in a storm, Stephen spotted Michael across the room. He made a beeline over through the crowd of party goers. "Michael! Thank Merlin. Listen, I need you to save me from myself!" He pleaded, "I can't shake the need to be a good host!" He downed the rest of his cocktail, Apparently known as aTwilight Caress. It had a pleasant effect of making the very tips of his hair glow a soft blue. "I think I might have to get utterly sloshed to distract myself from looking around in case there's some unfortunate lady without a dance partner," he sighed.
