Dennis remained quiet as Sebastian spoke, pouting and glaring. It wasn't very effective, honestly. He watched as Sebastian moved from Flourish and Blotts and back towards the ice cream parlor. Dennis went to the door and moved outside, though he didn't go farther than the front window of the store he had been in. He wanted to go to Hogwarts, that was the whole point of ditching the train in the first place. And though he had told everyone that if they let him go to the memorial, he would happily go wherever they sent him afterwards, it was a lie.
It was probably a good twenty minutes before Dennis made his way back over to Fortescues and took the seat across from the professor. "Can you talk to McGonagall and see if I can go to Beauxbatons?"
He did know, really, that he didn't have much pull here. Making demands wasn't really going to put people on his side. But just thinking about Durmstrang made him feel gross and scared in a way that he wasn't familiar with. He didn't like the idea of that school. He wanted to be with his friends if he couldn't be at Hogwarts, not completely alone with people who didn't like muggleborns.
