Who: Penny and Charlie
What: It's nice to have grown up company
When: 2nd November, evening
Where: Charlie's flat
Penny knew that she was really lucky that Charlie had a flat in Diagon Alley, and that he was willing to let her and Newt stay with him. Well, she knew he would never let Newt live on the streets, but she was still thankful. They were comfortable. She and Newt shared the smaller room, and Charlie remained in his own. They were fine. They were good.
Newt was sleeping finally, and Penny had left Edgar with him. She wasn't tired, but she didn't want to sit in her room and read, because she might wake him and he was almost sleeping through the night.
Charlie's lounge was empty as she stepped into it, so presumably he was in his room. Obviously Penny could just sit in the lounge, but if there was a chance of some grown-up company she'd take it.
Penny knocked quietly on his door, just in case he was asleep or busy. Gently she pushed it open, peering in.
"Hey, Charlie. Are you busy?"
