Dennis curled up his legs next to him, sinking into Aster. He honestly didn't mind the treatment. Everyone treated him like he was younger than he really was. He'd just grown used to it over the years. Of course, with the slip in his emotional state, it had definitely become more pronounced. It was alright though. He didn't mind being coddled sometimes.
Within minutes though, Denny was asleep, much as he didn't want to be. He wanted to stay up all night and make up for the lack of sleep tomorrow when he went home. Because then he wouldn't have to watch his parents be sad around him, or listen to his mum cry whenever she thought he couldn't hear her.
