"I know you, Lekky," Kazim said, letting Lavender go so that he could stroke the side of Tracey's cheek. "Don't pretend like I've never seen you lick blood off a knife. No blood, no tears, unless you want to be another of little Lavender's bitches, eh?"
Lavender glared at him as he turned back to her. "It doesn't work like that," she said. "I can't infect you... I have to scratch, or bite you... not even as a human..."
"And don't let her scratch or bite you," Kazim added, patting Tracey on the cheek. "Have fun." With that he got up and made his way back towards the stairs.
