"I was just leaving," Lavender said. She knew she shouldn't be so embarrassed. It wasn't as though she hadn't seen dozens of men naked in just the last couple of weeks. But this was different. She'd gotten very good at compartmentalising that part of her life from the Wizarding World.
"I see," Kazim said, looking Lavender up and down. He knew he shouldn't be tempted, but he could tell she wasn't wearing anything under what were clearly borrowed clothes, and the urge to take advantage of the chaos outside was very strong already. "Surely you weren't intending to go out dressed like that? Not that I can speak, I concede. Tracey, my robe is hanging in my room, if you would be so good."
Even in the midst of her shock, Lavender immediately thought that was strange. In fact, wasn't it pretty weird that Tracey was living here, alone in this place with a strange man? She couldn't imagine they were involved in any way... or they wouldn't have separate rooms, surely. But he asked her to go in his room for his clothes, casual as you like.
