Lavender knew she should have taken the night off. Parvati had enough to help them buy the potion they needed for that week. She could have taken the night off. The problem was, the full moon was only a few days away, and work actually helped her focus during those few days of intense energy. Or at least it took some of the edge off. Unfortunately it meant that she was suddenly standing in the middle of Wizarding London in the middle of the night, completely disoriented and wearing a golden, beaded bikini.
What the hell? Acting on instinct, she tried to make for the nearest building, only to be grabbed by someone. She snarled, and her eyes glowed yellow when she turned her head, just for a moment, as she fought back the urge to bite. Adreneline coursed through her system and she swallowed hard, trying to remember she was human. "I was-" she began, shaking her head. She recognised Tracey Davis, but she had never spoken more than a few words to the girl in her life; only what was required to complete class assignments. She didn't have to explain herself. She pulled her wrist easily out of the girl's grip, jumping quickly to one side to avoid others who were hurrying past. The movement made her jingle audibly. "What is going on??" she demanded, more to the world at large than to Tracey specifically.
