Penny laughed, genuinely tickled by his comment. She couldn't help but lean fondly into him.
"Oh, Charlie," she said quietly, her smile softening. "I'll remind you of this when you sober up and we'all see how keen you are then. You can do anything you want living alone, you don't want the woman who had your baby and a whiny little dribble bucket cramping your style." Penny reached for his hand, giving it a little squeeze. "But I'll stay here until you fall asleep."
