Having avoided mirrors for a while, Draco couldn't offer his own opinion, but he didn't really care. It seemed like years since he had cared about his appearance. Taking care of himself seemed more like a lie than anything else. Why pretend to be something he certainly wasn't any longer? Once he'd taken the step of covering the dark mark, he'd grown enamoured with the idea of covering more and more of his skin, not just for the numbing effects of the pain, but so that he wouldn't have to see what was underneath.
"Well, that makes two of us," he said, and downed the shot. It was comforting, and warmed him through the inside out. He could feel his caution waning. "Don't know what I'm doing here, really."
