Lia followed, looking around at the rest of the shop as she did so, trying to get a feel for the place. Maybe pick up on something she could bring up and impress him. A book Kazim was reading, some sort of indication of a hobby, but she didn't find much. Instead her attention turned to the necklace he was showing her when they reached the back room, and Lia couldn't help the slight wide eyed stare that graced her features. It was... well, breathtaking. "That's.... beautiful, yeah," she agreed, nodding her head. Lia's family, before her father's death, had been pretty well off. But no where near the level of that necklace alone... She had to wonder how he had acquired it. Maybe family, maybe he had connections...
"How did you come across something like that, if you don't mind my asking?" she said with a smile, genuine curiosity shining through. She didn't exactly doubt his wealth, but a girl had to wonder.
"And you know... you you want me to try and pitch selling it to you? Because I could totally do that," she said confidently, giving him a challenging look. After all, if he was going to hire her, he had to see her in action, right?
