Lia half froze when she recognized who was speaking to her. For some reason, a feeling of unease washed over her quite suddenly, and she didn't quite understand why. He acted like a gentleman and everything, but he gave her a fucking weird vibe every time he was anywhere near her. But she pushed that away for right now, plastering a smile on her face and giving her shoulders a slight shrug at the mention of his add. Maybe this could work in her favor. Of course... things hadn't been the friendliest between them in the past, but it wasn't her fault that he took such a fancy to Pansy Pugface Parkinson. Maybe he just needed glasses, or preferred to hang around with zero personality individuals. Either way, who was she to judge?
"Well, Kazim, it's alright to call you Kazim, right?" she raised a brow for a moment before continuing on, mostly because she didn't particularly care if he wanted her to call him something else.
"I suppose it's safe to say I haven't come in response to your advertisement since I'm not clairvoyant. Pity on that skill set passing me over, really. Seems like it could have been lots of fun. Anyway, I've been... for the lack of better terminology, scouring the entire place for a job. If I'm being frank with you... not many people are interested in hiring someone who is still suffering from the after effects of the virus, regardless of my NEWTs or qualifications. They prefer to just gawk and ask awkwardly personal questions, instead of actually taking me seriously." Pausing for a moment she bit her lower lip, batting her eyelashes at him subtly, trying to throw on any kind of womanly charm she possessed. Honestly, she had no idea if it was working, or if she was even managing it, but Seamus told her she could be sexy... so... unless he had been lying all this time... "I don't suppose... you would take me seriously then? Because I could really use a job."
Merlin, she was asking the guy made her skin crawl to give her a job! She was really desperate, wasn't she?
