Who Luna and Ginny Where Ollivander’s What The girls discuss Memory Charms When Friday August 5th Rating Probably Low
Ginny in her spare time was reading all she could on Memory Charms. Her school books provide to be useful as well as the local book stores. There seemed to be two different types of memory charms and how to properly cast it and what the consequences if it was done incorrectly. She remembered in her first year when Professor Lockhart’s memory charm backfired on him and it caused his entire memory to be wiped. It didn’t seem the case with Luna. It was only certain memories that were taken.
If it suppressed there was a way to return those memories. But it was too dark and Ginny didn’t have the heart to make Luna go through that. It could permanently break her and it was inhumane. Probably why St. Mungo’s never dared performed it on patients who had fallen victim to the memory charm. And that was only if the memories were still there, tucked away. If they were full gone, erased, or taken - well that is where it got more complicated.
She apparated to Diagon Alley and looked at her brother’s shop. A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she headed over to Ollivander’s Wand Shop. She looked up at the window before entering, the door bell rang in the quiet store signifying that someone had arrived. “Luna?” She jumped when Ollivander appeared out of nowhere. “Is Luna back?”
