Whatever was holding Bellatrix at the school was gone, she felt its presence vanish as soon as the students had gone home. It was a shame she had missed the train as she had found out rather early that as a ghost, she had no magic. It was time to make the long journey home - or somewhere she could get a message out. Bellatrix had no reason to stay behind at the castle.
On the third day she was cursing to herself wondering why the bloody hell she didn’t think about scaring a student into sending a message to her husband that she was back. No, she had to linger and get used to this no body, no magic, state of being she was in. Her cursing turned into fits of rage as she badly wanted to throw things by the end of the fourth day. She was in a sour mood by the time she came to London, but at least she was not tired. She had speed walked all the way back to Kings Crossing by following the tracks back.
Fixing her hair, or at least trying too, the ghostly figure of the deadly witch started to head towards Diagon Alley. Maybe there will be a fool she can corner and make them send the message. She was in the mood to cause real harm and it upset her whenever she thought she couldn’t actually do harm. No. But she had something better, she couldn’t be killed again and she could easily make someone’s life a living hell until they did as she told.
By the time she made it to Diagon Alley night was slowly coming. She walked down the familiar alley way and stepped into a dark corner. Now she had to wait. The first person she saw she was going to put her plan into motion.
