"I'm not asking because I pity you, Henry," she stated, shaking her head. "I'm asking because I like you. Because you deserve the same opportunities that everyone else has. And also because you're handsome, and sweet, and I wouldn't mind kissing you. In fact, I think I'd like it," she said, giving him a smirk, leaning in to just barely brush her lips over his.
