Angelina was no fool. She could see the look in Lee's eyes in the wake of her words. It was exactly the look she wanted. After all, Angie cared about Lee deeply, and lately she'd be lying if she didn't admit she saw him in a different light. He was trying to be her knight in shining armor, even though she most certainly didn't deserve it. But she wasn't going to complain. Really, she craved it. She wanted it. That emotional connection, as well as the physical.
When he moved closer, Angie propped herself up on her elbows, looking at him standing there. She bit her lower lip, a coy look spreading across her face before telling him, "Who said anything about teasing, Lee? I was being serious."
And to punctuate her point, she moved up her leg a bit so his hand finally made contact, smirking. "You don't need to be so unsure. I like it when you touch me," she said, her voice low and breathy.
