Augustus Rookwood. Known associate of Voldemort. Entered the quarantine under suspicious circumstances, but without evidence he'd apparently been released. But Renwick wasn't concerned with that. Associating with Voldemort and his followers was enough in Renwick's book. How had he not known before?
He'd been making preparations for a while now. He'd selected a cottage near the edge of the village, set up what he would need. He hadn't felt a pang of guilt at any point. What he was doing was a service. What he was doing was a favour to all of mankind. Augustus Rookwood didn't deserve to live.
But now he had to find him. Fortunately, that didn't prove too hard at all. Renwick had made it his business to see where Augustus would usually haunt, without letting himself be seen. He had essentially stalked him for a week now. And now was the time to strike. Whilst Augustus was walking down an empty side street on his way to the main square, probably for a drink. No one was around, as far as Renwick knew, and anyone looking out of their window probably wouldn't care.
"Augustus!" Renwick said pleasantly as he stepped out from where he'd been waiting, leaning against a short garden wall until his target turned up, "Fancy meetin' you 'ere eh?" His hands were in his pockets, and without even a flicker of his smile, Renwick removed the plastic cap that covered the syringe he had prepared for Augustus.
