The mention of Penny made Charlie slightly wary. Either he disliked Charlie, or he was relatively indifferent. He doubted very much anyone was particularly fond of the boy that had knocked her up, even if the result was perhaps the best thing in the world. Second best? Charlie did love the dragons... And then he realised. No. It wasn't even close. Newt held his heart in the tiny hand he had wrapped around Charlie's finger the first time he'd held him.
"Dragons? Right!" Charlie snapped back to reality and a broad, enthusiastic smile began to spread over his lips as he talked. People often asked after the dragons not exactly realising the result was going to be Charlie gushing over how fantastic they were.
"It's amazing!" He said, forgetting the brochure in his hands, "They're incredible! The first time you see one in flight it just takes your breath away. I know you probably saw the one we brought over for the Triwizard Tournament but she was being chained down and she didn't want to go far from her eggs. Seeing them diving from the cloudline is brilliant! They turn faster than you'd think something that big could!"
