A smile tugged at her lips as Vieve heard the door open. Of course she'd expected that kiss on her cheek. It was habit, expected - a perfectly lovely thing that happened when their paths finally met. So of course when he walked right past her, her jaw dropped in mock protest as she watched him walk right by. It was a look that was replaced quickly with amusement as he whined.
"Not a chance, partner." She laughed. "You'll just have to toughen up like a big boy." Of course, she stood from the sofa, leaving her work on the coffee table to cross the few feet to the bed. She straddled his thighs, her hands following the line of his back. She leaned forward, of course pressing a soft kiss to the back of his neck.
"Tell me where it hurts." Vieve whispered agains his skin.
