Who: Cassius and Marcus What: Time much needed Where: Their quarters When: Saturday evening Rating: Probably high
Everything was going to shite all over again, and quite frankly, Cass was at his wits end. Between the Prophet's unflattering portrayal of the aurors, the werewolf problem, the recent kidnapping, and the student's inherent need to do a variety of stupid actions, purposefully going against the aurors themselves, continually forcing themselves into life threatening situations - Cassius just wanted to give up. He was tired, he was frustrated, and more importantly, he felt a distinct lack of Marcus in his life which he felt absolutely horrible for. His nights had been long lately, and some of them he had barely even come back to their room before starting a new shift. He felt like a terrible boyfriend, and honestly? He wanted to make it up to him. Even if that meant taking an unscheduled night off. At this point, what was the worst that could happen? The school had already been blown up, people had been murdered. Cass couldn't think of anything worse than what had already passed happening in his absence.
So while Marcus had been out, Cassius transformed the room into a romantic getaway. Darkened lighting, a record player pumping out soft music, silken sheets, massage oils on the nightstand, and perhaps most importantly, glowing arrows leading to the bathroom which had been enlarged through magic, the tub in the floor three times as large, filled with good smelling foam - a bottle of champagne and two glasses sitting on the floor. This also happened to be where Cassius was relaxing, knowing eventually Marc would make his way back to their quarters. He was more than happy just to wait.
