Ellie couldn't help but perk up the slightest bit when Sally said there had been a lot going on. I mean... of course there was, but she had an inkling her friend might have meant more than just the normal a lot. Her eyebrow raised the slightest bit, tilting her head in her best friends direction with a small smile. "Oi... no apologizing. It takes to two have a friendship, lovey. If you're failing, I'm failing right there with you," she said in a matter of fact tone, taking another drink of her beverage, the second gulp going down a lot easier.
Leaning into her friend's hug she gave a small shrug, not really able to come up with anything too exciting. Though her demeanor at being all focused on Ellie made her giggle, shaking her head in Sally's direction. "Well, I hate to be a disappointment, but nothing too incredibly exciting has been going on. Catching up on work that I was buried under, finally passing my classes again, Quidditch, as you well know...." she trailed off, trying to think of something else but coming up empty handed.
"I don't know... I suck. What about you? Anything exciting? You've got to have more excitement in your life than me right now or I'll officially classify us as boring, and that simply won't do."
