Ellie had spend most of the day catching up on homework and working out, trying to get out of the slump she currently felt like she was stuck in. Of course, winning their most recent game had helped pump her up in the slightest bit, but she was still feeling the slightest bit down and she couldn't really pinpoint why.
So after spending several hours running and doing yoga, Ellie made her way back up to Hufflepuff, stopping off to shower before heading up to her room. She was pleasantly surprised to find the structure stretched between her and Sally's bed, and she smiled excitedly as her friend poked her head out, claiming that they would be spending the evening together. Elle had no issues with that, and quickly dropped her things on her bed and climbed in the entrance to the fort, crossing her legs in front of her and making herself comfortable.
"You really are quite the builder, Sals," she complimented, pulling a pillow close and reaching for one of the fizzy drinks, opening it up and taking a small sip, hiccuping in the slightest bit. "Oops," she muttered with a giggle, looking over her best friend. "So... what's the occasion?" she asked curiously, raising her eyebrows. "Not that I'm complaining, I missed spending time with you. I don't know how we've suddenly both gotten so busy.. but I guess with classes resuming, and Quidditch, and everything else..." she trailed off, giving a small shrug.
