Jack was a rock in the sea and Andy leaned towards his outstretched hands, reaching to grab Jack back like a drowning man but still believing he was surrounded by waves. His head was still splitting but he could ignore it in favour of the threat he thought was there. "Jack? Jack! No, no, not you, no!" he cried out between a scream and a growl and then lunged at the end of his bed at something that wasn't there except for in Andy's head.
He was startled when the figure seemed to slip away like it had never been and he shook his head before holding a hand to it as the action made it feel like it was fracturing. "Jack, are you okay?" he asked, catching his breath and still on the lookout. "What happened? I was just in the Hall, what?" He looked down at his previously broken arm, remembering the pain there but nothing about the chunk of masonry that had slammed into his head. "You're okay?" he asked Jack again.
