Justin knew the dig about his sexuality or his relationship with Percy had zero to do with their conversation - Ron was immature, and it was the price Justin had to pay for Ron's fear of the future. He accepted it, and brushed it off. He thought about helping Ron through the village, but figured the black eye wasn't worth the trouble. Still, he thought he might follow him just in case, to make sure he made it back safely. What Ron said had troubled him, though, and he felt it deserved a response.
